How do I book a place/s on a Wildlings Education event/group?
Before booking please read the FAQ and Booking Terms and Conditions
To make booking please go to Tickets to make an online booking and payment.
After booking, please complete a Participant Form for each child attending an event/group
What Safety Measures do you have in place?
At Wildlings Education, safety is our top priority. All our sessions are careful planned to have the right balance of risk and benefit to ensure a secure environment for your child.
Sessions are facilitated by experienced trained staff, and thorough risk/benefits assessments are conducted for each activity and site.
Our staff trained in environmental education, outdoor first aid and are Forest School Level 3 practitioners. We regularly update skills and tools training.
First aid kit and welfare equipment are taken out on site for each session.
Wildlings Education hold public liability insurance for our activities.
Do adults have to stay?
All children must be supervised by their accompanying adult - parent or carer.
1 Free adult per family - additional adults are charged - see event/group details.
We ask all adults to follow our Adults at Wildlings Groups Guidance - copy provided with booking confirmation/at taster session.
Wildlings Play/Wildlings Tots/Forest School - Adults are only allowed to attend if booked with a child ticket and adult names must be given at time of booking.
If booked adult needs to change, please inform Wildlings Education at the earliest opportunity before the session.
What clothing and equipment will I need to bring?
All activity equipment will be provided.
Please bring a drink and a snack.
We play come rain or shine so please come suitably dressed (children and adults!)
We recommend wearing suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for our nature-based messy activities.
Waterproofs and wellies whatever the time of year.
Long sleeves and trousers are best to protect from exploring and sun.
Autumn and Winter - Lots of warm layers including a coat plus hat and gloves.
Spring and Summer - sun hat and sun cream.
A change of clothes are always a good idea too.

What safeguarding measures do you have?
Our staff are experienced and trained in safeguarding.
We conduct DBS checks and attend regular safeguarding training.
Children must be supervised thoroughout the sessions by their accompanying adult.

Access
The sites we use are mainly public parks and gardens which have accessible paths. Some activities are off the main paths or on grass and muddy paths. Some sites we use have steps.
Trained assistance dogs allowed at Wildlings Education sessions and events. (No other dogs allowed, even on sites where dogs are usually allowed).
If you are unsure if the site or activity will be suitable do make contact with Wildlings Education to discuss over the phone or email before making a booking.
Please complete the Participant Form with any details of access requirement/s, medical conditions including allergies or additional needs for your child and any accompanying adults as soon as possible after booking so any reasonable adjustments can be made.
We will make reasonable adjustments to support your child or yourself to attend and take part in activities given a reasonable timeframe - We aim for an inclusive environment.

All sessions must be booked and paid for in advance.
On receipt of payment, a booking confirmation email will be sent with further information.

2 Read our FAQ including Booking Terms & Conditions here before making a booking.
3 Go to Tickets and select the ticket/s and complete online payment.
4 After booking please complete the Participant Form for each child before the event or start of new term.
If you have any questions or discuss your child's needs - do get in touch via our contact form before booking your tickets.
Messages will be replied to as soon as possible - if received after 12pm Fridays they may not be replied to until Monday 12pm.
Transfer, Reschudules and Refunds
Wildlings Education will not refund your session/s payment if you cancel a session/s including for illness, holiday and non attendance.
If you can no longer attend and wish to transfer your place/s to another named person/s, Wildlings Education will need 24 hours written notice before the start of the session/event to authorise this (email accepted).
Sessions will run in all weathers, except when there are extreme weather warnings.
In the unlikely event of a session having to be cancelled by Wildlings Education a transfer or a rescheduled date may be offered. If you are not able to use the transfer or rescheduled date a full refund will be provided (minus any external booking fees if applicable at time of booking).
Supervision, Safety and Behaviour
Please ensure all accompanying adults are aware of Adults at Wildlings Groups Guidance
Children must be supervised throughout each session by their booked adult - Wildlings Education does not take direct supervision of children.
There may be small parts or ingestible items at sessions including natural materials and plants which may not be suitable for under 3s - supervision is required.
Safety briefings and instructions will be provided by staff - please follow any guidance and ask if unsure or you see anything unsafe.
The booked adult accompanying the child/ren are responsible for their child/ren behaviour throughout the session. If yours or your child's behaviour is considered dangerous to others or property, you may be asked to leave the session/programme and potentially future sessions.
Access
Please ensure you have informed us of any additional needs requirements, medical conditions and allergies at time of booking. We will aim to make reasonable adjustments to make activities accessible given a reasonable timeframe.
Dogs
No dogs except trained assistance dogs allowed at Wildlings Education sessions (even on sites where dogs are usually allowed).
Photography and filming
Wildlings Education may take photography and/or film at our sessions/programmes and events which may be published in print and online including social media. No names will be included. You will be asked for your consent for your and your child/rens images to be taken, stored and used in our publicity (in print and online including social media).
Verbal consent will be asked for hand or back of head shots on the day.
Please do not take photos of other participants - adults/children without their permission (for children this must be their accompanying adult).

Data protection and privacy
Contact details supplied will only be used for administrative purposes relating to your booking and for requesting feedback after the session/s or programme. Credit card details are not stored unless you set up an account on the online store, and personal details will not be shared with third parties.
Wildlings Education will only contact you about future events and programmes if you have opted to receive this information. You may unscribe at any time.

By booking and making a payment for a Wildlings Education group programme or event you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
